Los Angeles is the most visited city in California. Each year, approximately 50 million tourists from around the world arrive to visit the many attractions, museums, amusement parks and entertainment industry attractions that Los Angeles has to offer. Located in the southwestern region of the United States (the so-called southwest), California is the state that people associate with beaches, nature parks, sun, and road trips. In recent years, San Jose in Silicon Valley has become one of the most powerful technological cities on the planet.
San Diego is certainly picturesque, and the reason it gets fewer visitors than the other two cities is because it doesn't have as much publicity or famous. No matter what genre you like, you can find a festival that speaks to your soul in this region of California. Located about 50 miles south of San Francisco, San Jose is also one of California's largest cities with approximately 1.03 million inhabitants. Like so many other cities in California, the beginnings of modern San José began with Spanish settlers in the 18th century.
Some other tourist activities to do in San Francisco include dining at Fisherman's Wharf, climbing to the top of Twin Peaks, exploring the California Academy of Sciences, and shopping at Union Square. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge is one of the key locations and what many people remember when they think of San Francisco and even California. Located in the north of Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz has some of the most beloved beaches in Central California. With 8,300 residents, Pismo Beach is a relatively secluded coastal getaway in central California. It's a small surreal town, which also has one of the most beautiful missions in all of California, as well as a beautiful beach with stunning views. Located in Northern California, along the Sacramento and American Rivers, Sacramento grew in stature thanks to the gold rush.
San Diego's climate is probably the best of all American cities and San Diego's amusement parks are second only to the major theme parks in Los Angeles.
